The Petoskey Curling Club is a vibrant community hub dedicated to the sport of curling. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team as Board Members and Volunteers.  The role of these Board Members and Volunteers is critical to the success of the club and its future.

Board Member Responsibilities:

• Attend regular board meetings and participate actively in decision-making processes.

• Assist with club fundraising efforts, including grants, sponsorships, and events.

• Oversee club operations, including membership, ice scheduling, and facility maintenance.

• Promote the club within the community and attract new members.

• Represent the club at local and regional curling events.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Assist with club events, such as bonspiels, learn-to-curl sessions, and social gatherings.

• Provide support to youth curling programs.

• Assist with facility maintenance and ice preparation.

• Share your curling expertise by coaching or mentoring new members.

• Serve as a friendly face to welcome new members and visitors to the club.

Qualifications:

• Passion for curling and a strong interest in supporting the club's mission.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Commitment to attending regular meetings and fulfilling responsibilities.

• Prior experience in non-profit management or related fields is a plus, but not required.
