Welcome To The Petoskey Curling Club
The ice is currently CLOSED. The 2024-25 season proved to be a truly remarkable chapter for the Petoskey Curling Club. A defining moment was the establishment of our first-ever dedicated curling ice at the Emmet County Fairgrounds. Housed within a new, enclosed hoophouse structure, this dedicated ice marked a monumental leap forward, providing our members with consistent and high-quality playing conditions throughout the season, a significant improvement over previous years. The excitement and positive impact of having our own ice were palpable within the club. Throughout the season, our commitment to enhancing the curling experience was evident in our ongoing efforts to improve the ice quality. The acquisition of new equipment, such as an electric ice scraper, will play a vital role in maintaining an excellent playing surface, directly benefiting the enjoyment and skill development of our members. We also actively engaged with the Petoskey community by hosting successful "learn to curl" events, introducing the fun and strategy of curling to many newcomers. Furthermore, we cultivated valuable relationships through advertising opportunities, strengthening our connection with local businesses and organizations. The 2024-25 season was a resounding success, laying a strong foundation for the future of the Petoskey Curling Club. The establishment of dedicated ice was a transformative achievement, promising continued growth and a vibrant curling community in Petoskey for years to come. We extend our sincere gratitude to all our members, volunteers, and community partners who contributed to this historic season. The enthusiasm generated this year fuels our excitement for what lies ahead. Thank you to our sponsors! |
