Welcome To The Petoskey Curling Club

The weather looks to turn COLD for a while! We are raising funds for our future!
The Petoskey Curling Club, a family-friendly nonprofit in Petoskey, Michigan, is dedicated to growing the sport of curling in northern Michigan. After a five-year hiatus due to challenges with ice access, the club made an exciting comeback in the 2024-25 season with its first dedicated curling sheet at the Emmet County Fairgrounds. This innovative outdoor setup, enclosed in a modified hoop house to protect against sun, wind, and snow, provides consistent ice conditions and hosts leagues, learn-to-curl events, and community gatherings. The current 2025-26 curling season builds on that momentum, with the club continuing operations at the fairgrounds facility while aiming to expand membership and programming. Weeknight leagues offer competitive and recreational play for all skill levels, and the welcoming atmosphere encourages newcomers to try "chess on ice." As the club strengthens its community ties, it's poised for further growth in this vibrant winter sport. This season is especially thrilling as it's an Olympic year, with curling competitions at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics set for February 4-22. The global spotlight on men's, women's, and mixed doubles events is generating massive hype around the sport. Come ride the wave of excitement leading into the Games with us! Thank you to our sponsors! |
